Greys & Things

Not much happens in my home on this holiday.  I do not have children, so there is not any costume making.   I live on a back road, so no one visits.  Actually, last year the neighbor kid came to my house at 4 p.m.  I was in the backyard with the dogs and saw him leaving my long driveway.  I was really surprised that: 1) he came by and 2) that he came at 4 p.m. 

I’ve been watching the Today Show this morning and enjoying their costumes and ideas for the holiday.  Last night, I watched Martha Stewart and she also had some really interesting ideas.  I’m a little sad that I am not really able to participate in the holiday, but when I lived in town, I hated the holiday.  I hated all the vandalism that the teens participated in.  I was always nervous on this holiday, especially when it fell on a weekend.
