Greys & Things

Wow, this has to be a record for phone repairs for me.  I was only without service for 3 hours.  I didn’t expect service for at least two days.  I thought I would have a lot of things to write about here, but the phone company gave me nothing this time.  

Well, that was extremely short-lived.  Since I have written this, the phone man has been out five more times.  My lines were crossed.  It reminded me of a Seinfeld episode, but a Chinese lady was not involved.  I had a very angry man who thought I was trying to listen in on his conversations.  He then got on the Internet and all I could hear was his modem.  Yes, people still use dial-up.  I live in a rural area so you can do that or a satellite.  I have the satellite and it can be a nightmare in itself. 

The phone man told me I would not be hearing that man on my phone again.  I hope he is correct.  It definitely is creepy having someone listen in on your phone calls. 

The poor phone man, I saw him out here again on Saturday.  I didn’t call him though.  I guess other people are still having problems.  My phone is still not normal, I have a buzzing sound but I’m not complaining about it.
