Jack is back from the vet!
Jack is home from the vet and everything is fine. His cough is almost gone, but I took him in to be checked out anyway. The vet said that he looks fine and couldn’t find anything wrong with him. His lungs are clear, so that is wonderful news. We did our best to make him cough so that the vet could hear it, but Jack wouldn’t cough. We stroked his throat, but nothing.
The vet was impressed by how good his teeth look. Greyhounds are known for having bad teeth. He had his teeth cleaned before I adopted him. I try to brush his teeth several times a week because his teeth started looking bad. I really do not want him to undergo another teeth cleaning. It is a risk every time that you put a grey under. I just don’t want to do that unless it is absolutely necessary.
We stopped on the way home and picked up burgers to celebrate. 
Jack, of course, coughed several times on the way home. He reminds me of a car that you take in for repairs. It doesn’t make that noise that you need it to make for the mechanic, but as soon as you drive away it does. That’s my silly boy, Jack.
