Made Good Use Of My Extra Hour
Did you remember to fall back today? We woke up at 4:30 a.m. since we normally wake up at 5:30 a.m.
How did you spend your extra hour? I planted pansies in my front yard. I love those because they will come back in spring. I really need to see flowers after a long winter of snow. I also pulled out some rubber stamps. I like to personalize my Christmas cards. I found an old coin in a case in my rubber stamp box. I examined it for a while. I think it must be from my husband’s grandmother. She died in 2000. I wondered if it was worth any money. I could sure use some money right now. My hours have been cut at work. It seems like it could be a sign from her since I’m really not sure how it ended up in that box. If it was a sign from her, she must be telling me to try and cash it in. I showed it to my husband. He didn’t seem as interested as I was. I’m not sure what I will do with it. I hate to sell anything that belonged to a loved one.
As I was looking through my rubber stamps, I found the stamps that I used on my Letters From Santa when I did those several years ago. I was quite successful and even appeared on syndicated news programs all across the country. I gave it up when I became too busy to keep up with it. Those were the “good ole days” for me. I decided that I should start up that business again. I have nothing to loose. I have everything I need. It will just cost me the stamps for the letters.
It seems that I did quite a bit in my extra hour. How about you?
