Lost Focus
I started loosing weight in July. I purchased a scale in which you weigh your food, you input a code and it tells you the amount of calories in that food. It is great. I quickly learned portion control and lost weight quickly. I went to the doctor for my yearly check up and I was quite upset when I got on the scale. His scale only showed that I had lost two pounds! I had actually lost 12 pounds on my scale at home. He told me that the scale in his office was new and many patients had complained about it. His scale really burst my bubble. I know it shouldn’t have, but it did.
I have now lost 15 pounds, but I’ve lost my focus. I really need to get back on track. My goal was to be “skinny” by Thanksgiving, but that will not happen now. I have 15-20 pounds more to loose.
On the bright side, I have started getting out my winter clothes and I can tell a big difference in how they fit. It’s a nice feeling. I really need to re-gain my focus and reach my goal.
