New Way of Reading
I have discovered books on CD. They have been around for years, I know. I just never thought of getting one from the library.
I decided to read some books written by John Edward and when I placed the order on my library’s website, one of the books happened to be on CD. I thought, why not give it a try? I really enjoyed listening to John read the book to me. The first night, I laid on the floor and Scout, my greyhound, laid next to me and we listened to John. It was quite relaxing.
Over the next few days, I inserted the CDs into the player whenever I had a few quiet minutes, such as when I fixed dinner. I also took the CDs with me while I drove to town. I am in love with this way of “reading”. I like to read at night, but my eyes are so tired that I just can’t. I am going to look for more books on CD in future just as a different outlet for myself.
