Greys & Things

I planned to take Scout to a “meet and greet” today.  If you have visited a Petsmart or a Petco, I’m sure you have seen a “meet and greet”.  It’s where adoption groups bring in dogs or cats that need homes.  We also educate the public about our particular breed. I call it “planting seeds in peoples’ minds.” Scout loves attending “meet and greets”. She is extremely friendly and seeks out people to pet her.  She thinks everyone should want to pet her and seems hurt if she is passed by.  I have discovered that when we are walking through a campground that she slows her walking pace down when we get near people.  She wants them to see her and then pet her.  Scout never whines at the promos.  If there are not people to pet my little princess, then she just lies down on her blanket.  She’s such a good girl.

Unfortunately, I have not felt well this past week and today was no different.  I woke up with a migraine.  I took my medicine and felt somewhat better, but the medicine always leaving me not feeling really right.  Scout cut her foot this morning while running and is now limping, so that sealed our fate with not going. 

It has not been a good week for Jack and Scout.  Jack cut his leg last weekend and not Scout cut her foot.  I hope they both heal quickly.
