Greys & Things

Has it been a long week for anyone else?  It seems like this week has stretched on forever for me.  We have had very cold weather along with some ice and snow.  My husband spent 5 hours just trying to get to work and back home again on Tuesday.  Last night, we had a thunderstorm that woke the dogs and us up.  Jack and Scout are both scared of storms.  Jack ended up getting in bed with us for a little while.  He shakes so hard during storms.  I wish I could convince him that everything is okay.  This morning, the temperature is in the 50’s and it is so windy.  The temperature is supposed to drop into the 30’s as the day goes on.

Today, I am going to town.  I haven’t left the house since Sunday.  I am going to have my mammogram done.  I know, that sounds like fun, doesn’t it?  I’m two months late with getting it this year.  I’m usually very on time with my doctor visits, but other things came up this year and I kept putting it off.  Today is the day I will get “squeezed”.  While out, I will stop at the store and pick up my prescriptions, pick up a few groceries, and one last Christmas present.  It should be a nice trip except for the squeezing part.
