Greys & Things

It definitely was hard getting up this morning.  My husband will be out of town most of this week.  He had a semi-work emergency to take care of this week.  We had hoped he wouldn’t have to travel until later in the month or even next month, but something came up.  I don’t like him traveling in the winter because you never know what type of weather he will run into.  We checked the radar and it looks like this week will be okay.  He may only be gone a few nights.  It’s strange how my days feel different when I know he will not be home.  I mean, why should it feel different until it’s time for him to come home in the evening?

Work is slower today than I expected.  I thought I would be swamped all day, but I guess a lot of people have signed on to work and it is slow again.  This is not a good situation.  I saw an ad this weekend that I was interested in and thought about applying, but then I would be giving up my work at home job.  I really would prefer to continue working at home, but I need hours.  The job ad I saw is working in a pet hotel.  I think it is something that I would like doing, except for cleaning up after the animals.  My stomach seems to be getting weaker as I get older.  I have actually gotten sick cleaning up after my own animals.   If I have to leave my home, then I would like to work with animals.
