I am so tired of hearing about the digital transition that will occur on February 17, 2009.  It is on the news every day.  They run a crawler on the bottom of the screen several times a day.  They have taped messages showing us step by step how to order the TV converter boxes and how to hook them up.  It’s a daily thing.  The sad thing is that there will be people who will wonder why they can’t get a picture on their TV on February 17th.  You don’t think so?  I do.  In St. Louis, we recently had a major highway shutdown to be re-built.  This was on the news for months and months preparing us for it.  They shutdown the highway and people were shocked because no one told them.  

I purchased our converter boxes last summer.  We have satellite TV in our house, so we are fine.  We need them for our motor home.  I haven’t taken them out of the box yet.  I hope that after complaining about seeing all the reports on how to hook them up that I don’t look like a fool and have problems.

If you haven’t ordered your coupons for the boxes, it may be too late according to the news today.
