Did you watch the Barbara Walters special on Patrick Swayze last night?  I thought it was a great interview.  He is so inspiring.  He is a man who has not given up and is still fighting hard.  I am in awe that he was able to film a new series, The Beast, while being so ill. He is such a strong and determined man.

He commented that he is very upset with the tabloids right now.  I am not one who reads them or even watches the entertainment shows.  I just don’t care to hear the gossip.  I did a quick Google search because I was hoping to find a photo that I could use of Patrick here.  I was shocked and upset by the number of links that said things that are obviously not true based on his interview last night.  One link said he had actually died and that was last summer.  I can see where he would be upset for his family to read things that are said about him.   Why do people print lies?

I really feel for celebrities that are harassed by the media.  John Travolta’s son had just died and people were questioning his death.  I say leave the family alone.  I can’t imagine how heart broken they must be.  The media loves to stir up things and it really irritates me.
