Not All Wi-Fi Is Free
Today was my weekly trip to town. I planned to make it a fairly quick trip. I needed to stop by the bank, Wal-Mart, grab a lunch and use their Wi-Fi service, and get my haircut. Everything was on track until I stopped by the fast food place. I am new to using Wi-Fi service. I checked out the website on the fast good restaurant before I left and it said they had the service but there was a charge. I wondered if that meant there was an actual fee or if you had to purchase a meal. I thought it might be purchasing a meal because I have seen that on a sign at another one of this restaurant’s locations. It turns out they do charge a fee. I found that out after I had purchased my meal. Lesson learned on that one. I decided that I might try stopping by the library on my way home and using their computer, but didn’t know if I could do my Entrecard dropping there. I didn’t want to go to another restaurant since I already spent money on lunch. It turns out I didn’t have time to stop at the library.
My haircut took much longer than expected. The stylists seemed to be having a great time talking to each other. It’s nice that they all get along so well, but it’s annoying that it takes so long to get a haircut because they all have to stop cutting hair because they are breaking out in burst of laughter. I’m not sure what I learned from that experience. There are only so many places to get my haircut and I have tried them all. There was something odd. The last three times I have gotten my haircut, the same elderly lady has been there getting her hair done. She was even at a different location with me one time. I’m thinking that she probably gets her hair done weekly. I’m more of an every two month person myself.
I ended up arriving home an hour after I planned. I missed Guiding Light.
