My Calendar Girl
Scout is in the 2009 Celebrating Greyhounds’ Calendar and this is her week!
Last year, I submitted about ten photos of both Jack and Scout and this photo was chosen to appear in the calendar. I was so excited when the announcement of the winners was made. A list came out and my heart was beating so hard as I looked for Jack and Scout’s names. I screamed when I saw that Scout had won. My husband along with the dogs came running into my office to see what I was screaming about. 
I did not know which photo had been chosen until I received the calendar.
Jack appeared twice in the Celebrating Greyhounds Magazine 2008. We are very proud of both of our models.
I planned on entering them again this year, but I haven’t taken a photo that I think is worthy of sending in. I have a different camera as my old one broke and I’m just not happy with the quality of photos that it produces. I will keep trying though. I have until March to submit my enteries.
Scout looks so cute in the picture. I need to start getting that calendar again. I haven’t been doing any volunteer work with the greys for a while, so haven’t been reminded to get the calendar. (The president of the club I worked with for years is a real *itch, and I couldn’t take it any more).
