Gray Hairs
This morning I parted my hair on the opposite side that I normally do. I walked passed the mirror this afternoon and noticed how strange it looked on me. It’s amazing how changing the part in your hair can make you look different. As I was looking at my hair, I noticed all the gray hairs on the left side of my head. Goodness! I usually have about three regular gray hairs on the right side that I pull out about once a month or so. The gray hairs on the left side are covered up so I don’t see them until the part changes. I probably pulled out six hairs, but I couldn’t get one out. It kept slipping through my tweezers and my arms got tired being up in the air that long trying to pull out the gray hair. I know, I’ve heard that you are not supposed to pull them out, but that’s probably an old wives’ tale. After-all, what am I supposed to do? Color it? I have a permanent and I’ve heard that coloring can really damage it. I’ve also heard that curly hair does not show the gray hair as easily. So, do I keep curly hair and pull out the gray plus any other hair that gets in the way or color it?
I asked my husband if I have gray hair in the back of my head because I can’t see back there. He said no. I have my doubts about that. I guess I just won’t worry about it. If I don’t see it, then it doesn’t exist, right?
