Greys & Things

The UPS man did finally show up on Friday night.  He arrived around 7:30 p.m. much to my surprise and delight.  He brought me a new pair of Isotoner slippers.  They are very comfy and warm.

I have gone back to parting my hair on it’s normal side.  I didn’t not feel like finding more gray hairs this morning.  LOL  I really do wonder what the back of my head must look like.  My husband says it’s fine, but he is not much for noticing things on me.  He will notice if there are new tracks in the driveway or if the car has been moved an inch, but doesn’t seem to notice if I get a haircut.

Today, we are taking the dogs to a meet and greet with our rescue group.  We try to go every month, but we miseed the past two months.  Scout is a great meet and greet dog.  She loves the people and other dogs.  She will lie in the middle of the store if she gets tired. Jack loves people and dogs, but he gets bored and whines.   Hubby is going with me because it’s hard handling two dogs on my own.  I sometmes take Scout by myself, but Jack needs to get out since he hasn’t been out in a while.  They rarely seeing people living out here in the boonies.  

I have to try and make it seem like a non-meet and greet day because once the dogs figure it out, they will be bouncing off the walls. They get so excited.  The only other time they get more excited is when we are getting ready to go camping.  Camping is the ultimate excitement for them.  I guess it’s good that they like it or it could really be bad since my husband is obsessed as he is about it.
