Greys & Things

I wrote about finding more gray hairs last week when I parted my hair on the opposite side.  Do you know what I found last night?  More gray hairs!   I have a brand new one coming in where I had plugged one last week.  It was probably a 1/4 inch.  How can it grow in that fast?  It’s only been a week.    So, I started looking all over my head and I found probably six more gray hairs.  Some of the hairs are really long so that means they have been there for a long time. I even used a mirror last night to look at the back of my head.  I did not see any gray hairs, but you know they have to be there.  It’s not like gray hair just grows on the side of my head, right?   I never look at the back of my head.  I used to drive my Mom crazy because I wouldn’t style my hair in the back.  It was too hard for me and I couldn’t see it anyway.  I was really impressed by how nice the curls look on the back of my head, so at least I was happy with that.

I thought about coloring my hair, but what good will that really do?  I mean, the roots of the hair will turn gray anyway, right?   I will still be pulling them out.

I guess I will just have to learn to live with it and know that it is only going to get worse as time goes on.
