I’ve been tagged by From Huskies to Husbands  Please check out her blog.  Her blog is very interesting, plus she is a dog lover like me!

So, I am supposed to post 7 things or wierd facts about myself. This is going to be hard, I think.

1) I am allergic to shellfish.  I could eat until my mid-twenties and then I couldn’t. I’ve heard that your body changes every 7 years.  I’m tempted to try it again, but only if I am near a hospital.

2) My first date with my husband was a blind date to our prom.  It really wasn’t a blind date as he met me a few days before and said “yeah, she’ll do.”  He sat in the car while I went in with another couple.  He had not paid his dues, so he couldn’t enter.

3) I love TV.  I have it on from the time I get up until I go to bed.  I have it on mute when I’m doing phone work, but I still like to “watch it”.

4) My span with jobs seems to be 10 years.  I get downsized after ten years.  It has happened to me twice, so far.

5) I live in the same town that my Dad used to live in.  Okay, that may not seem strange, but he bought a farm here and sold it to his brother and then moved to the city long before I was ever born.  I moved here about 45 years later.  My cousins now own their Dad’s home and live just a few miles from me.  I wonder if my Dad is smiling down on me knowing that I fell in love with the same place that he loved.

6) My best friend and I email each other constantly.  We have known each other for 36 years.  We met in second grade.

7) I’ve been self-employed since 1995.  I love it, but worry every day that my job(s) will end.

Now, I will tag 7 people.
