Greys & Things

Today is going to be a very busy day.  I am going to work for about two hours and then I am going to my tax preparer’s office and have my taxes prepared.  This is the earliest that I have been prepared and I was surprised when I called yesterday and they were able to get me in today.  I hate all the aspects of taxes.  I hate preparing for it.  I hate having it done. The past three years, we have received a refund.  I have a small business and it took me several years to get things figured out so that I am not owing.  I always have to pay estimated taxes, but there was a time where I owed quite a bit at the end of the year.  I’m hoping that we get enough back this year to pay off our credit card bill.  It’s been a rough year.  I had to charge our propane and I want to pay that off.  If I can get our credit card bill off, I will feel a lot better.

My husband wants to change the oil in the motor home and the ATV, so we need to stop at the store to do that.  The dogs need food, so that needs to be purchased.

We will also visit a relative in the hospital this afternoon. The relative had hip replacement surgery yesterday.  Ouch!

The weather is cold here today.  All the fun snow for the dogs has turn into an icy, slick mess.  Jack doesn’t want to go outside.  He has figured out that if he walks along the side of the house, he can get to a patch of grass.  The end of the week will bring very warm temperatures, so he just needs to make it until Friday and then we should be okay.
