Isn’t it amazing how everyone’s moods improve when the weather is nice?  Today, it is in the 60’s here.  It is sunny and just gorgeous.  My dogs are even in a happier mood. We went for a nice, long walk today.  I let them sniff and take their time today.  We still have some snow on the ground, but the dogs really enjoyed their time outside.  This afternoon, they were able to run in the yard for the first time in over a week.  Scout is absolutely delighted, but now I have to wipe the mud off of her each time she comes in from outside.  I hate mud season.

I received my state tax refund today.  That was really fast.  I just filed on Tuesday.  I already applied it to some bills.   I went shopping today and did some stocking up on items.  Happiness to me is a full pantry and a full freezer.  The freezer is not full, but the pantry looks pretty good.  I have learned to stock up when items are on sale and I apply coupons to those items when possible.

Tonight, I am going to barbecue pork steaks for dinner. Barbecue sounds wonderful, doesn’t it?  I am so ready for winter to be over.
