Greys & Things

Today is going to be a fairly busy day.  My husband is going to change the oil in the motor home and then we are going to take it out for a drive. We’ve been told it should be taken out for a drive once a month in the winter months.  We purchased it used last year and got a really good price on it.  It was a rental.  It’s only a 2006 and looks basically new.  My husband received a promotion last year and everything seemed right about buying it.  I don’t regret buying it, not really.  My dream has been to own a motor home and travel.  We figured that none of us know how much time we have, so we should follow our dreams while we can.  If we had it to do all over again knowing how bad the economy would become, we probably would have waited. We really enjoyed it last year and I’m sure this year will be the same.  Hopefully gas prices will be better this summer.  We had it last year when the price was at $4 a gallon.  That hurt big time.

I plan to fix lasagna for dinner and I will make an extra to take to my in-laws.  My mother-in-law is now out of the hospital and that will make them a dinner or two.  I plan to also make a peach cobbler and take that to them.  We are going to pick up chicken for lunch tomorrow and take that to them.

I have already used the Dremel on the dogs’ nails, so that is done.  I am so proud at how well they do with it.  It took them a while to get used to it, but now we do fine with it.

The weather is warm again today.  It’s 66 degrees and not even noon.
