Sunday Happenings

Published by pattye under Country Life Edit This

Today has been a nice day.  I made caramel rolls for breakfast.  I chose a generic brand of biscuits, however, and I was not happy with the results.  I know the recipe is a good one, so I will go back to buying the Pillsbury biscuits in the future.  After breakfast, I did a little cleaning.  I hate cleaning, but it’s nice to see the results.

My Roomba and I have not been getting along.  She needs a new battery.  Hubby worked on her for a while because she was giving me fits saying that I needed to clean her brushes.  Yes, she talks.  After the third time, I threatened to throw her out the window.  Hubby discovered that the front wheel comes off and you should have seen the dirt and hair.  I have had her for 14 months and that wheel had never been taken off before.  She seems to be running better now, but I think I will still need to order a new battery this week. I love my Roomba .  She really does help out a lot and she is really great when I want to clean the motor home.  I have taken her camping with us.  It’s almost like having maid service.  I turn her on when we leave to go walking and when we come home our floors are clean.  LOL

I fixed us a nice lunch of hamburgers served on Texas toast and french fries.  I really need to start eating healthier again.

Now, I have dough in my bread maker.  I will make rolls to go with cornish hens and mashed potatoes that we are having for dinner.  I love the smell of dough rising and baking.

My upper back is bothering me.  I woke up in the middle of the night in pain.  I wish I could remember what I was dreaming about that caused it to start hurting.  I do think I know the activity that I am doing during the day that is making it hurt. I have been playing a computer game.  LOL   It’s called Pet Shop Hop.  I cannot get past the second to last level.  It’s driving me crazy!  I am normally not a big computer game person, but I am hooked on this one.  Hubby laughs at me because he says I am so intense while I play it.  LOL

Happy Sunday!
