Greys & Things

Our weather is grogeous today.  It’s sunny and currently at 82 degrees.  It would be a great day for camping.  Hubby is thinking we need to go next weekend.  The weather may turn into winter temperatures in a week though.

The dogs received a package today.  They were very excited.

They danced around wondering what could be in the box.  Wow! Look at the size of this bone.

They haven’t had this type of bone before. Only time will tell if they really like them. They usually only want the bone that the other one has. They wait impatiently for the other dog to get up to get a drink of water and then they swipe their bone.  The picture at the top of my page shows Scout waiting for Jack to get up so that she can steal his bone.

On a different subject, I’m a little concerned.  I did not receive my paycheck today.  It used to come on Wednesdays and then Thursdays and then Fridays.  Nothing came in the mail today.  It really doesn’t motivate me to work the rest of the day because I wonder if I am working for free.  I sent an email to them asking if the checks were sent out late.  I just received an email back that it was sent out on the 2nd.  That’s really odd since they don’t mail them out until Tuesdays.    I will follow up on Monday if it doesn’t arrive tomorrow.  Work is really slow and the pay is really bad right now, but I keep doing it.  I love the work and I hope that things will improve.  I have a sinking feeling in my chest right now though.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you all this.  You know, I have been pulling out my gray hairs.  Today, I colored my hair!   I can’t say that I like it, but at least the gray is gone.  It’s darker than I planned, but it’s one of those 6-12 day dyes.  It’s not permanent.  I will try a different shade before I settle on one.
