I told my husband that we had to fall forward today.  LOL  I knew we were setting the clocks ahead.  I just got confused on my terminology.  It seems like we loose so much more than an hour on this day to me.

Scout cut her foot running in the yard.  It took me a while to get it to stop bleeding.  It’s not the pad of the foot, but just above it.  It’s that little thing that is on the leg that looks like a pad.  Is that what it is still called, the pad?  I think those bleed more than other parts of the foot.

Today has been strange.  Hubby and I both had trouble sleeping last night.  We ended up loosing an hour, so that didn’t help things.  The weather is still very warm here.  There was severe weather nearby us, but it missed us.  The town that was hit hardest is where our family lives.  My in-laws lost power.  My mother-in-law is still recovering from hip replacement surgery, so I hope the power comes back on soon for them.  She can travel now, but I know she prefers to stay in her own home as she has her recliner that is one that is easier for her to get in and out of.

Did you hear about the minister that was killed today during church service today in Illinois?  It is so sad.  I’m from Missouri, but the location is in our viewing area so it is a top story here.  It happened during the severe weather breakout, so the news people were having trouble juggling between stories.

I’m making dinner rolls in my bread machine again today.  I’m not sure this recipe will turn out.  I put the yeast it after I should have.  I’m using regular flour instead of bread flour and I had to use a lot more of it to make it form a ball.  I also added garlic powder to it just to see how it would taste.  These bread rolls have a lot of things going against them.  LOL

Hubby is headed out of town for the week beginning tomorrow.  The hounds really miss his ear rubs because I can’t do them as well as he does.   Here is Scout enjoying an ear rub last night.  She loves her Daddy.  Can’t you tell?
