Greys & Things

The hounds and I are hard at work this morning in the office.  Scout has been whiny about it all morning.  Jack doesn’t complain much.

Hubby is on his way to Kansas City this morning.  He will come home Thursday night in time for Survivor, we hope.  The VCR is not working and we still do not have a DVR, so if he misses Survivor there is not much I can do about it.  I came really close to getting a DVR, but hubby is still upset about the additional $4.95 a month.

Hubby asked what I would be doing this week while he was gone.  I told him that I may get really crazy and get this, go to McDonalds a few times to drop my Entercards.  The problem is it’s hard for me to schedule.  I need to leave after Guiding Light and before 24 and a storm is predicted around that time.  I really do not like driving in storms.  So, the exciting trip to town may not happen today.  There are more storms expected tomorrow.  I would also like to go to Hobby Lobby one day this week.  I know, my exciting lifestyle is almost unbelievable.  LOL

Something exciting is happening though.  I ordered a sewing machine.  I think I got a really good deal on it.  It’s through Overstock.com. I’m waiting impatiently for it to ship.  I want to begin making dog collars, bandannas and other things.  My old sewing machine has never worked properly.  I bought it at a garage sale many years ago.  I can usually get it to work for a few minutes and that’s all.  It’s very frustrating.  I hope it ships and arrives this week.  I’m beginning to think that I am hoping for too much. It will probably arrive next week, but it sure would be fun if it arrived this week.
